Kratom Active is a Canadian online kratom retailer shipping lab-tested botanicals across the country. We’re looking for a hands-on, contract Marketing Manager to own and grow our digital marketing — working remotely from anywhere in Canada.
What you’ll do
- Own the marketing calendar across SEO/content, email (Klaviyo), and paid/social channels
- Plan and ship campaigns around new strains, promotions, and our city and vendor content
- Grow organic traffic and conversion on our WooCommerce store; work closely with our content and SEO efforts
- Manage the email list and lifecycle flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase)
- Track performance in GA4 / Search Console and report on what’s working
- Keep all marketing compliant with Canadian rules for botanical products (no medical claims)
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years running marketing for an e-commerce or DTC brand (kratom, supplement, or botanical experience a plus)
- Practical SEO and content marketing chops; comfortable with WordPress/WooCommerce
- Hands-on with email marketing (Klaviyo or similar) and paid social
- Data-literate: you make decisions from GA4 and Search Console, not guesses
- Self-directed — this is a remote contract, so you manage your own time and deliverables
